The
Mustang Console Hammer shifter is designed to fit the stock
factory full console for ' 82-'
99 cars with the AOD & AODE transmission. It has a full
ratchet action mechanism for positive, can't-miss upshifts and
downshifts. When shifting the Mustang Hammer from neutral or
reverse to park positions, just lift the trigger and ratchet
the shifter forward for each position. The Hammer Head handle
comfortably fits small to large hands. Factory cables are utilized
to retain the factory interlock mechanisms. If you have replaced
the AOD transmission with a C-4, you must use the C-4 conversion
kit #81020.
