Floor and Tunnel Shield: Heat & Sound Insulation

This revolutionary material adds a new dimension to control heat with minimal clearance needed, only 3/16”! The Floor and Tunnel Shield is constructed utilizing an embossed 10 mil aluminum face bonded to a 1/8” composite fiberglass insulation and is backed with an aggressive adhesive that holds past 450º F. Capable of handling direct temperatures up to 1750 degrees f. Tough enough for under vehicle applications. This unique material can also block out up to 50% of unwanted road noise.

Heat Screen Aluminized Radiant Matting:

Heat Screen is capable of withstanding direct heat up to 1000 degrees F. on one side, while protecting against radiant heat up to 2000 degrees F. on the aluminized side. Heat Screen can be used to protect the driver¡¦s compartment from excess heat; to protect areas where excessive heat can blister paint; where exhaust pipes run close to the fuel tank; and many other applications too numerous to mention. This material can be applied with a high temperature adhesive, or fastened down with screws or rivets.

Heat Resistant Sealant/ Adhesive

This is the best product to install our Heat Screen (above), but the uses are limitless. Anytime you need to bond or seal around heat this is the product for you. Dow Corning developed this product for the extreme conditions faced by the aerospace industry.

Reflect-A-Cool

Reflect-A-Cool™is a sheet of reflective material with an adhesive back which offers outstanding protection against extreme heat. A combination of fiberglass and an aluminized layer of reflective foil, Reflect-A-Cool™ is ideal for firewalls, marine engine bays, RV “dog house” or in the tub of a racecar where typical mechanical fasteners cannot be used. Reflect-A-Cool™ will reflect up to 1000 degrees F. and will protect against a direct continuous temperature of 400 degrees F.

Cool-Tape

Cool-Tape consists of a 1 mil aluminized material bonded to a light weight, woven fiberglass with super strong adhesive backing and release liner. Cool-Tape™ can reflect up to 1500 degrees of radiant heat. The uses are limited only by your imagination but common uses include wrapping wires or fuel lines and sealing openings in floor boards or firewalls.
